About: Recently honored by frequent patron Mayor Riordan for their 50th anniversary, this long-standing and somewhat infamous hamburger and sandwich joint still offers counter seating (only!) with red swivel chairs, no air conditioning, and a hunk of homemade apple pie for under $3. And if you think that`s not appealing, you`re at odds with the crowds of all ages that flock there for lunch, dinner and those after-the-bars-close munchies in the wee hours of the morning.
If you try out Apple Pan, you`ll find a carry out place that serves an American cuisine dominated by burgers and sandwiches. Expect the average entrée to cost under $8.
